Pecan Pie

pastry for 9-inch crust
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup (or 1/2 light and 1/2 dark)
1 cup pecans, halved and broken

Mix together in mixer. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes.

  1. This is my mom's recipe. While I am not a fan of pecan pie, everyone raves when I make this.
